Rudy was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, though he has spent most of his life in South Texas. After graduating high school he attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he received his bachelors in biology, while simultaneously financing his own education, and volunteering in the local community. In 2010, he attended the University of Texas – Pan American Physician Assistant Program. During this time, he was accepted into the American Academy of Physician Assistant Congress Board serving as the South-West region liaison. In addition, he was part of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, focusing on improving community health. Soon after graduating, he made his way to his current position, all the while maintaining his focus on family oriented medicine.
Rudy enjoys his work, because it allows him to remain in contact with the people he was trained to serve. He thinks of every patient as pertinent and nuanced, keeping his approach to medicine empirical, yet humanistic. His leisure time is used on his interests which include physical fitness, family interactions, cycling, and swimming.
