Stephanie hails from Augusta, Georgia. After graduating from Augusta State University, she became a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in 2001. As one of the top students in her class, Stephanie was chosen to visit ASU’s sister nursing school in Takarazuka, Japan, representing the university as a student ambassador. Upon her return, Stephanie moved to Atlanta, GA, and served as a charge nurse and clinical preceptor for the Coronary Intensive Care Unit in Atlanta’s only Magnet Award Hospital.
In 2003, Stephanie and her husband relocated to San Antonio. Before joining North Hills Family Medicine, she worked in a large cardiology group, serving as a physician extender and clinical research coordinator. Never one to stop learning, Stephanie earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, graduating with highest honors, summa cum laude. It was during these academic pursuits that Stephanie discovered a passion for delivering holistic, comprehensive healthcare…so she followed her heart, which led her to become a Family Nurse Practitioner at North Hills Family Medicine.
